Quizzes

Short quizzes from the question bank, marked the moment you submit.

Tutors put them together for one class or for every student. Students get a score and a full answer review straight away.

Step by step

From the bank to a score

Part 1 of 4

Create a quiz

  1. 1

The tutor creates a quiz: a title, a description and an optional time limit in minutes.

  2. 2

They pick one of their classes, or leave it open to all students.

Part 2 of 4

Pick questions, then publish

  1. 3

They choose questions from the bank in subjects they teach.

  2. 4

They save it as a draft or publish it.

Part 3 of 4

Answer against the clock

  1. 5

The student opens Quizzes, starts the quiz and answers. If there's a time limit, a countdown runs and submits automatically at zero.

Part 4 of 4

Score and review, instantly

  1. 6

On submit, the student sees their percentage score and a question-by-question review with the correct answers.

How it works

Quick to set, fair to sit

One attempt

A fair snapshot

Each student gets one attempt per quiz, so the score is a fair snapshot. Submitting again shows “Already submitted”.

Scoring

The same engine as test series

Answers are marked by the same engine as test series. The score is the marks earned divided by the total, shown as a percentage to one decimal place.

Who sees it

Open to all, or just one class

A published quiz is visible to every student if it's open, or to students who are, or were, in the chosen class. Tutors can unpublish, edit or delete their quizzes; deleting a quiz also removes its attempts.

A quick check, marked in a second.
