Class recordings
Every live class is recorded automatically, ready to rewatch any time.
Video, screen share and whiteboard are all captured. Students with recordings in their plan, or who unlock them, can rewatch any past class.
From live class to replay
Everyone is told first
- 1
Before joining, everyone sees a notice: “This class may be recorded”.
Recording starts by itself
- 2
When the tutor joins, recording starts on its own. There is no Record button, and it can't be switched off.
- 3
A red REC badge shows while recording is running.
Ready to rewatch in minutes
- 4
When the class ends, the video is processed and saved as an MP4 file.
- 5
Within minutes it appears under My Classrooms › Recordings for students who have access.
No access? Unlock it once
- 6
A student without access sees “Unlock past class recordings” and can pay once to unlock them.
Every class, kept for later
The whole classroom, in one video
The recording is a 1080p, 30 fps view of the classroom layout: cameras, screen share and the whiteboard together. Starting it twice never creates two copies.
Who can watch
Can watch when their enrolment includes recordings (full-session, or mid-course join with recordings), or they unlocked them.
Can watch when they teach the class, or covered that session as a substitute.
Can watch when they have full access in the parent portal.
Can watch every recording.
One simple add-on price
The recordings add-on costs 35% of the class price, rounded to whole rupees, and is paid through Razorpay. If the class itself was free, access is granted without payment.
